Our Story
From Citrus Fields to Coffee Country
After two decades working in Florida's citrus industry, the Davis family made a bold decision — to pioneer something no one in Florida had ever done before. We planted Florida's first Arabica coffee farm right here in Glades County, next to Lake Okeechobee, proving that world-class coffee can grow in the Sunshine State.
With 4 large greenhouses and thousands of thriving Arabica plants, we've spent 3 years growing, nurturing, and perfecting our craft. In 2026 we celebrated our first harvest.
What truly sets us apart is what happens next. We don't just grow our coffee — we harvest, mill, and roast it all in-house — a milestone no Florida farmer had ever reached before. Every bag you receive has been touched by our hands from the very first plant to the final roast.
In partnership with the University of Florida's agriculture department, we're not just growing coffee — we're helping write the future of Florida farming.
From our family to your cup. That's the Okee Coffee promise.
